Our No Risk Refund Policy

Trustico® exists to get every customer a working SSL Certificate. That commitment drives how Trustico® handles every order, every validation, and every support request. The goal is simple : a successful validation, a working SSL Certificate, and a customer who has what they came for.

Every SSL Certificate purchase through Trustico® is a license that permits the issuance of an SSL Certificate as often as needed throughout the license period. This means a single purchase covers reissuance for key rotation, reissuance after a server migration, reissuance following a private key compromise, and any other situation where a fresh SSL Certificate is required. The license is the value, and it is unlocked the moment validation succeeds.

Validation Unlocks Your License

Successful completion of validation by the Certificate Authority (CA) is the point at which an SSL Certificate can be issued, and it is also the point at which the license becomes fully usable. Everything that happens before validation is a step toward that milestone, and everything after it is covered by the license you have already purchased. Passing validation is therefore the single most important moment in the SSL Certificate lifecycle, and Trustico® is built around helping every customer reach it.

Once validation is complete, the SSL Certificate can be issued immediately and can be reissued as often as needed for the remainder of the license period. A server change, a lost private key, or any other technical event does not require a new purchase because the license already permits further issuance. Pre-Validation Protection

If your order has not yet been validated by the Certificate Authority (CA), the full value of your purchase is protected. Orders where validation could not be completed, orders where the customer was unable to respond to a validation request, orders that were denied, and any other order that did not reach validation are covered. Trustico® applies Trustico® Prepaid Credit to your account in these situations without requiring the refund request form, and the credit can be used on a different SSL Certificate, a different domain, or any other eligible Trustico® product.

If you are uncertain whether validation will succeed for your domain or your organization, this protection exists specifically for that situation. If validation genuinely cannot be completed, your purchase value is preserved so you can apply it elsewhere.

Trustico® Support Guides You Through Validation

Most validation difficulties are resolved through support rather than refunded. Trustico® support helps with validation e-mail delivery, Domain Name System (DNS) record requirements, file-based validation uploads, Organization Validation (OV) and Extended Validation (EV) documentation questions, and any other step that might otherwise stall your order. The goal is always to get you to a successful validation so that your SSL Certificate can be issued and your license can be put to use. Explore Trustico® Support Services 🔗

We'll Match Any Advertised Price

The Trustico® Price Promise

Trustico® offers a price match against advertised prices from competing SSL Certificate providers. If you find a cheaper advertised price for an equivalent SSL Certificate product elsewhere, Trustico® will consider matching that price so you are never overpaying. This protection applies before purchase and also after purchase, which means a credit for the difference may be available if you find a lower price after ordering. SSL Certificates That Work Everywhere

Trustico® SSL Certificates are compatible with all modern web servers and devices. If you encounter difficulty with installation or configuration, Trustico® support is available to resolve the issue so your SSL Certificate works correctly. Installation difficulties are almost always solved through support within a short time, which means your license delivers what you purchased it for without complication.

After Validation

Once your order has been validated by the Certificate Authority (CA) and your SSL Certificate has been issued, the license is active and the value of your purchase has been delivered. From that point forward, your protection is the license itself, which permits reissuance as often as needed for the remainder of the license period.

Important : Refunds are not available once your order has been validated by the Certificate Authority (CA). Validation is the point at which the SSL Certificate can be issued and the license becomes active, and it is also the point at which the purchase can no longer be reversed.

Refunds are also not available for fulfilled SSL Certificate orders of any validation type, discounted SSL Certificate orders, SSL Certificate products replaced free of charge, SSL Certificate orders containing Premium Installation where installation work has commenced, SSL Certificate reissue orders, and SSL Certificate subscription orders including Certificate as a Service (CaaS). S/MIME Certificates after successful e-mail validation and issuance are also non-refundable.

SSL Certificates that have been revoked are not eligible for refund. Revocation is a feature of an SSL Certificate, and the act of revoking an SSL Certificate does not constitute grounds for a refund. Any SSL Certificate must be in a canceled state before a refund request can be considered.

Submit a Refund Request

For situations that fall outside pre-validation protection, refund requests are considered at the sole discretion of Trustico®. To submit a request, download and complete the refund request form and return it to Trustico® via e-mail or fax. The form must include order particulars such as the order number and domain name so that the request can be identified and reviewed.
